The show is called Soft Animators and it’s on at CRAFT ACT (Australian Craft and Design Centre). It also includes Sarah CrowEST and Alan Jones and Ghost Patrol. Great to meet Ghost Patrol and Cat Rabbit and big thanks to Jas, Barb, Simon, Dan, Annie and Jane and everyone.

Meet Meatman, man! This is Meatman, in all his nude and meat-covered glory, for the The Great Australian Barbeque Show at  Wilson Street Gallery in January 2008. The show focussed on the Australian fascination and love of the BBQ and featured artists Leo Robba, Euan MacLeod, The Strutt Sisters, Me and more. Also I made a all felt Meat tray which was raffled off.

The ‘me’ doll with my favourite green belt, favourite Black label hat and the pink hair that I had at the time of the Melbourne Art Fair 2008 for which the ‘me’ doll was made. A few people besides ‘me’ were interested in buying him. One of those people wasn’t Bill Henson; I think he was shitty at me! The’me’ doll is on the wall next to the original Mayu doll (pics coming soon) overlooking our kitchen table like a couple of lovebirds.
